Valerie Wanamaker, LCSW
Welcome! I am a true enneagram enthusiast and have a deep appreciation for the wisdom it can provide on how we show up in love, work, and play. I began studying the enneagram in 2012 and have since become certified in the Embodiment Tradition. I teach locally here in Asheville, NC and I provide online offerings including workshops, groups, and individual sessions.
In my work as a therapist, I aim to promote healthy, fulfilling relationships and I view the enneagram as a tool that can be used to better attune to ourselves and others. My primary interest is with couples and relationships, and how our enneagram patterns impact sexuality, identity, self-efficacy, and relationship dynamics.
I believe that through the liberation of the spirit, which accompanies deep work with the enneagram, that we are able to become more fluid, trusting, and dynamic in all areas of our experiences.
